Ho Chi Minh City Oncology Hospital, 03/02/2021
On the occasion of Lunar New Year 2021, the group of alumni Hoc Mai (Vietnam Australia) kindly donated to help the pediatric patients at Ho Chi Minh City Oncology Hospital with a small gift. ASIF is honored to be invited to contribute.
The program intended to raise 100 million, but thanks to the responses of the sponsors, it reached 110 million VND. All the money was handed over to families and children by Ms. Quynh Anh and the volunteers.
On the morning of February 3, ASIF representatives, on behalf of the project ‘Cung Em Don Tet’, and representatives of the Hoc Mai group personally handed over gifts including cash and small gifts such as storybooks, coloring books… to more than 100 patients with their families at Oncology Hospital. The group hopes that this small amount can reduce the burden of hospital fees, along with small gifts to encourage and create more joy for the children during the treatment.
ASIF is honored to contribute a small part in supporting logistics and companionship to the program. Tet is the time for a family reunion and ASIF believes that no matter the difficult circumstances, they still deserve to feel the joy and smile the brightest.
Following this program, ASIF hopes to continue connecting and joining hands with the community, especially the Vietnamese community in Australia, to carry out many volunteer programs of high social and sustainable significance.
ASIF is the abbreviation of the Australasia Social Impact Foundation, a non-governmental organization registered as a legal entity in Australia and licensed to operate in Vietnam.
